Stuck on 39

I DON'T know about you but I am growing a little weary of waiting for Ichiro to hit his 40th rbi. It seems like he has been stuck on 39 for months. Had a good shot today but no joy. I think we are seeing an All-Star-game-MVP let down. Can't blame him. Good sign from the Ms today: They managed to beat the Central-leading Tigers despite Ichiro playing like crap. I guess I am happy Ichiro resigned with the Mariners. If he had to go somewhere else, I would have preferred the Angels, not the Giants or the Yankees. The Yankees are going to be pretty lousy for a long time and the Giants are traditionally lousy. Great ballpark, crappy management. 1962 was now two generations of fans ago.
