ANYBODY SEE Robert Kennedy's son, Junior, ranting at the New Jersey Global Warmists shindig? I admit to being a little out of touch, but I didn't realize lunacy had gone mainstream. This trust-fund bunny, who as best as I can tell, has made it into middle age without ever holding a real job, was screaming himself silly, accusing EXXON/Mobil of being "villainous" and "traitors."
He also attacked The Southern Company, a firm I had never heard of. An energy supplier, apparently. Like millions of Americans, my mutual fund has money in both firms--in fact, also like millions of Americans, it has more money as a percentage in EXXON/Mobil than any other stock. As the old adage goes, what's good for EXXON/Mobil is good for America.
Traitors? I don't think so. Even I wouldn't accuse Junior of being a traitor--an idiot, sure, but not a traitor.
On another subject. Remember those simply awful Marines who slaughtered those poor innocent Iraqis in Haditha? Come on how can you forget? Big John Murtha--an older idiot--convicted them on the floor of the House. Well, you may have missed it, because good old AP is burying the story, but the military prosecutors are 0-2 so far, having failed to even get cases against two of the accused out of Article 31 hearings. A bit like a grand jury, that means the cases were so laughably weak a judge tossed them before they could even reach a court martial. I think the word used to describe the government's position in the latest case was "incredible."
